Description of research:

The research conducted in my PhD will develop and test methodologies for mass discharge quantification from real contaminated sites to groundwater and if proved relevant also to surface water bodies. Due to the highly variable and scarce data sets found for the real contaminated sites, both in time and space, the project will also be concerned with the uncertainties related to these estimates.
