Research interests:

Analysis of extreme hydrological events. At-site and regional assessment of floods and droughts. Estimation of extreme rainfalls as basis for urban drainage design. Risk and reliability analysis. Parameterization of hydrological models. Land-surface modelling. Estimation of parameter values by means of automatic calibration procedures. Uncertainty assessment in hydrological modelling. Sustainable reservoir development and management. Conjunctive use of groundwater and surface water. Catchment-scale hydrological modelling and regional water resources assessment.
